Srinagar, August 12(KNS): A private security guard employed at the 'New Nursing College' hostel in central Kashmir’s Srinagar district has been arrested for allegedly assaulting a child within the premises, police said here on Saturday.

The Srinagar police via a tweet said that "One private security guard of 'new nursing college' hostel namely Mubarak Hussain Hafiz S/o Abdul Rashid Hafiz R/o Brein Nishat arrested for assaulting a child in premises".

"In this regards FIR no 26/2023 u/s 323,341 of IPC registered in Karan Nagar PS," the city police added in the tweet.(KNS).
