Srinagar March 28 (KNS): Police in Anantnag solved a theft case and arrested two accused persons involved in the commission of crime. Stolen property was recovered from their possession.
Police Station Kokernag received a written complaint from a lady namely Ruby Akher wife of Mohd Iqbal Waza resident of Sagam Kokernag stating therein that some unknown thief/thieves entered in her residential house while she was visiting her sisters house and have stolen some cash, Golden ornaments, copper utensils etc. Accordingly, a case FIR No 30/2024 under section 454, 380 IPC was registered and investigation was set into motion.
During the course of investigation, a police party from Police Station Kokernag arrested two suspected persons namely Faizan Gulzar Lone son of Gulzar Ahmad Lone resident of Magraypora Achabal and Bilal Ahmad Ganie son of Gh Ahmad Ganie resident of Nagam Kokernag and recovered stolen property from their possession.
Our consistent actions against anti-social elements should reassure the community members that we are making every effort to keep our society free of crime. Police has resolved to act as per law against those who indulge in criminal activities.(KNS)
