Police solves Cattle theft case in Bandipora

 
Bandipora, Sep 16 (KNS): Bandipora police on Friday solved a Cattle theft case and recovered stolen Cattles worth thousands from the possession of the accused person.

The Bandipora police in a statement said that acting on a complaint filed by one shepherd namely Abdul Khaliq son of Mohmad Abdulla resident of Rajouri Kalakote stating theirin that during the intervening night of 14/15 September some unknown thieves stole his 7 Sheeps near Rangerkhan (Ajar Chowk) Bandipora. 

"Accordingly,Case FIR NO. 159/2022 under relevant sections of law was registered in Police station Bandipora and investigation taken up.Acting promptly upon this Case police party headed by SHO  Bandipora Insp. Ashiq Hussain under the supervision of DYSP HQRS Bandipora Shafat Mohmad arrested one person namely Zubair Ahmad Ganie son of Gh Mohmad Ganie resident of Nowpora Bandipora based on human and technical inputs within 24 hours," it said. 

"During questioning he confessed his involvement in the commission of crime and on his disclosure 7 sheeps were also recovered. Moreover the arrested accused also confessed the involvement of his father namely Gh Ahmad Ganie son of Ab Ahad Ganie Resident of Nowpora and efforts are on to arrest him," the police said, adding that further investigation of the Case is going on.(KNS)
