Bandipora, July 22(KNS): Following the terrorist attack in Anantnag, in which a police head constable lost his life, security forces have intensified counter-terrorism operations across Bandipora district to prevent any potential security threats.
According to official sources, over 130 suspected Over Ground Workers (OGWs) have been detained for questioning and verification.
Simultaneously, multiple raids and search operations are being conducted at various locations throughout the district.
The operations, based on specific intelligence inputs, are aimed at identifying and dismantling suspected terrorist support networks, gathering actionable intelligence, and preventing any attempts to disrupt peace and public order.

Security arrangements have also been significantly strengthened across Bandipora.
Additional police and security personnel have been deployed at vulnerable locations, while vehicle checking, area domination patrols, frisking, and surveillance have been intensified to ensure a robust security grid.
Officials stated that the verification and search operations are ongoing, and further action will be taken based on the findings of the continuing investigations.(KNS).
