Srinagar, Jan 18 (KNS): Anantnag Police on Thursday said that it has attached residential property of an individual involved in providing support to terrorists.
"District Police Anantnag attached the residential property of Abdul Salam Rather at Tangpawa Kokernag, linked to Case FIR No. 170/2022. Investigation revealed Abdul Salam Rather's son, Zahoor Ahmad Rather's involvement as a terrorist associate, providing support to killed terrorists, making the property subject to "Proceeds of terrorism" under UA(P) Act 1967," Police spokesperson said.
He added that confirmation of the property attachment was authorized by competent authority. (KNS)
