Langate, May 29 (KNS): Plantation drive was organized by Nowgam brigade in north Kashmiris Kupwara district in which more than three hundred samplings of planted during the drive.

The drive was organized by Nowgam brigade, in which Principal Higher Secondary School Qalamabad, Range Officer Mawer, Headmaster High School Nowgam,  Students, and other locals planted the samplings during the drive.

The objective was to raise global awareness about the significance of healthy environment issues by implementing some actions to protect nature and earth leading to a positive and healthy environment for all. 

During the program Range Officer Mawer Mudasir Ahmad highlights the importance of plantation drive and brief the students he said the aim of the plantation drive was to plant more trees in the area and said in future they will organize more Plantation drives as well.

It is worth mentioning here that the forest division Langate has embarked upon a massive Programme of  plantation drive. (KNS)
