Ready

Srinagar, Sep 2 (KNS) HMLA Budgam Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi on Wednesday expressed disappointment over the delay in providing an access point on the Ring Road, saying the issue has caused considerable anxiety among the people of Budgam.

Mehdi called on National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) Chief General Manager Aashish Kumar Jain and raised the concerns of the people over the delay in granting the access point.

According to Mehdi, the NHAI official assured him that the matter was already under process and that the access point would be provided at a location desired by the people of Budgam.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Mehdi, however, warned that if the access point was not granted, or was provided at a location not acceptable to the people, residents would be compelled to take to the streets in protest.

The Budgam MLA stressed that the concerns of the local population should be taken into consideration while finalising the location of the access point.(KNS)
