PDP Leader Yasin Bhat calls for peace on LAC and LOC

Srinagar 26 June (KNS): Expressing serious concern over LAC and disturbing escalation of cease-fire violations on the Line of Control (LoC) and International Border (IB), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader Yasin Bhat today emphasised on the need of maintaining spirit of the cease-fire all along the border and LAC.
According to statement issued to KNS, he appealed leadership of India, China and Pakistan to act with wisdom to control further escalation of tension on the LAC AND LOC. In a press conference today which was convened by PDP leader Yasin Dar, he said that all the differences can be fixed out by mutual understanding and talks. Since beginning we have urged the government of India that the issue of Kashmir can be resolved by talks. The people of Jammu and Kashmir were hopeful that the Modi government will address the concern of the people, but it’s unfortunate that the BJP government separated the state of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh into two separate union territories. The BJP is rubbing salt over the wounds of people of Jammu and Kashmir. Coming to the Ladakh, that is very much part of the Jammu and Kashmir, Yasin Bhat said. I request the government of China and Pakistan and India that all the differences can be resolved by sitting on table. The Kashmir that is the bone contention between India Pakistan, the both countries should start a dialogue and resolve all pending issues, the PDP has been always in favor of peace, he said. (KNS)
