Srinagar July 26 (KNS) : In a continuous public outreach Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) General Secretary Gh Nabi Lone Hanjura along with ex MLA Anjum Fazli, Ab Hameed Kohsheen, District President Ab Qayoom Bhat , Addl Spokesperson Ab Rauf Bhat , Mohit bhan , M Altaf Ah, Bilal Ahmed , Fayaz Reshi , Mohd Shafi kundangar on Monday held a mega workers meeting in habba kadal
The meeting was organised by PDP Constuiency incharge Habba kadal Arif Laigroo
Addressing the gathering G N Lone Hanjura, said that PDP will do every possible thing to serve aspirations of people of Jammu and Kashmir and we are committed to raise the voice of people viciforcely, and assured that party will not let down our people.
Hanjura further expressed gratitude to the party workers at the grassroots level who have stood firm with the party and its struggle despite the pressures. “The workers are the real strength of the party and PDP shall stand firm to represent their aspirations”, he added.
Hanjura during the meeting asked the workers to make preparations for PDP foundation day, which will be held on 31 July at Sheri Kashmir Park.
Hanjura while talking to workers said: “Most of the people in Habba Kadal are hand to mouth earners. The situation in the area is so dire that after the installation of smart meters will add further to the miseries of people in Habba Kadal. He said that most of households would either have no electricity or no food to eat.”
Hanjura urged LG led administration to reconsider its move of installing smart electricity meters and provide relief to people

Speaking to the gathering Arif laigaroo urged the people to come forward to strengthen the party and have organised campaign against social evils that included drug abuse in society.
Laigaroo urged them to keep tab on youth in their respective area and work for betterment of society. He expressed anguish over prevailing circumstances in Kashmir and prayed for return of long lasting peace.
