Srinagar May 05 (KNS): JKPDP State Secretary and Constituency Incharge HabbaKadal Arif Laigaroo chaired the important review meeting at Saraf Kadal,In the meeting Laigaroo said that since the revocation of Article 370 in 2019 people of Jammu and Kashmir have endured suffocation and widespread fear, likening the prevailing silence to that of a graveyard. warning against the consequences of silence, He emphasized the importance of voting as a means to combat oppression.

Strongly condemning the demolition of shopping complex of Party’s youth leader Sheikh Zaid, Laigaroo said that suppressive measures and pressure tactics cannot muzzle our voice and our resolve to safeguard Jammu & Kashmir’s unique identity and Honour. He said that demolition without issuing any prior notice to Sheikh Zaid clearly indicates how those forces are scared of their defeat with the rousing response and support from people of Jammu & Kashmir to our party and candidate Waheed ur Rehman Parra and such attempts clearly shows their share frustration.

Making scatting attack on BJP and its cronies Laigaroo said that these parties are busy sowing the seeds of discord and creating new fault lines but people are now cautious and will not allow the divisive elements to succeed in their nefarious agendas.

He said that ongoing polls in Jammu and Kashmir hold crucial importance as they are not being fought for mere roads and drains but for the far greater cause - for dignity and restoration of the lost rights, Laigaroo added.
