SrinagarMay 16 (KNS): A one-day convention by the Youth People's Conference was held in Nowhatta Srinagar today. The convention was presided by Youth President J&K PC Youth President Sheikh Mohammad Imran.

Addressing the convention, senior vice president of Jammu and Kashmir People's Conference and former minister Abdul Gani Vakil termed the government's claims regarding providing employment to the unemployed youth a cruel joke.

He described youth empowerment as an important aspect of every democratic process and maintained that PC is fully committed to carve out spaces for youth to play a critical role in our future.
