PARAS Health Srinagar holds multi-speciality health camp in Kargil

 Kargil, June 13 (KNS): PARAS Health Srinagar, in collaboration with Baqariya Health Care and Research Centre and the Health Wing of IKMT, organised a free multi-speciality health camp in Kargil on Saturday to provide specialised medical services to residents of remote areas.

 
The camp, held at Baqariya Health Care and Research Centre, witnessed participation from hundreds of residents from Kargil and adjoining areas who availed consultations and medical advice from specialists across various disciplines.
 
Officials said the initiative was aimed at improving access to specialised healthcare services in geographically challenging and underserved regions of Jammu and Kashmir.
 
Facility Director of PARAS Health Srinagar, Dr Murtuza Habib, said the institution remains committed to ensuring that quality healthcare reaches people irrespective of their location.

Doctors who participated in the camp included Dr Mohd Maqbool Sohail (Interventional Cardiology), Dr Mohd Yousuf Dar (Pulmonology), Dr Adil Ashraf (Gastroenterology), Dr Raahil Rafiq (Neurosurgery), Dr Younis Mushtaq (Urology) and Dr Suheel-ur-Rehman (Neuro and Vascular Interventional Radiology).
 
Residents appreciated the initiative and thanked the visiting medical team for providing specialised consultations locally.
 
Organisers said such outreach programmes help promote early disease detection, health awareness and improved healthcare access in remote regions. They added that similar initiatives would be organised in other underserved parts of Jammu and Kashmir in the future.(KNS).
