Editor KNS, several prominent civil society members express grief

 Srinagar, Oct 15 (KNS): Ghulam Nabi Khayal, a noted writer and a journalist passed away after a brief illness at his Sanat Nagar residence in the early hours of Sunday.

Khayal, who was chief editor of weekly Voice of Kashmir was unwell from past several months and finally breathed his last today morning, close sources told. He has authored 30 books in Kashmiri, Urdu and English.

Meanwhile Editor KNS Mohammad Aslam Bhat expressed grief over the demise of noted journalist and termed it a big loss for journalist and writers fraternity. "Gh Nabi Khayal has contributed immensely for local journalist fraternity and was a credible voice in the region. His demise has sent shock waves in the fraternity," he said.

He prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and forbearance for the family in this hour of grief. Besides several political, religious and civil society members expressed grief over the sad demise of noted writer and a journalist and extended their sympathy with the bereaved family members.
