Baramulla April 15 (KNS): The residents of north Kashmir's village Sheikhpora, Kreeri area of Baramulla district, are facing hardships due to lack of foot-bridge over nallah.

The residents of the area have expressed resentment against RDD for failing to construct the bridge.

"With no bridge to cross the nallah, it has badly affected the education of the students. They have to walk over wooden planks placed over the nallah to reach the other side", said Fayaz Ahmad, a local resident of the village.

The locals told KNS we are being forced cross the nallah in absence of any bridge while during rainy season, it is very dangerous to step in the foot in the stream.

Meanwhile, deputy commissioner Baramulla Menga Sherpa told KNS that we have arranged poplar tree for the nallah as temporary foot-bridge.(KNS)
