Srinagar, Apr 18(KNS): Apni Party senior leader and former minister Chowdhary Zulfiqar Ali Thursday refuted rumors of joining BJP, saying there is no question of leaving Apni Party.

"We have formed Apni Party, and I am true soldier of it and will continue to be the part of it. Why I should leave Apni Party," he told KNS over phone.

He said there are some vested interested elements who float such rumors for running their political agenda. "I was in Delhi for some personal engagements. It doesn't mean whoever will visit Delhi is going to join BJP," he said.

Rumors were rife that Apni Party senior leader Chowdhary Zulfiqar Ali is likely to join BJP ahead of Lok Sabha elections.(KNS)
