Paid glowing tributes to Sher e Kashmir on his 118th birth anniversary and termed him the founding father of political awakening

Srinagar Dec 5 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Vice President Omar Abdullah on Tuesday led the party rank and file in paying glowing tributes and fatiha at Mazar-e-Qaid of Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah following his 118th birth anniversary. 

The main commemorative function was held at his mausoleum Qaid Mazar Naseem Bagh in Srinagar, where party functionaries and people from different walks of life joined to offer fatiha and tributes. 

Among others Party General Secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, Addl General Secretary Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Treasurer Shami Oberoi, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, Political Advisors Mushtaq Guroo, Mudassar Shahmiri, senior leaders Choudhary Muhammad Ramzan, Abdul Rahim Rather, Sharief Ud Din Shariq, Mubarak Gul, Irfan Shah, Ali Muhammad Dar, Javed Dar, Shameema Firdous, Er. Sabiya Qadri, Ghulam Mohi Ud Din Mir, Abdul Majeed Bhat Larmi, Shafkat Watali, Syed Tauqeer Shah, Hilal Akbar Lone, Salman Ali Sagar, Farooq Shah, Reyaz Bedar, Peer Afaq Ahmad, GH Rahi, Showkat Mir, Sajjad Shafi, JS Azad, youth wing, Social Media & Media functionaries, women's wing functionaries were also present on the occasion. 

Similar commemorative functions was  held at the provincial headquarters Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu and all district headquarters across Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh. (KNS)
