Kulgam, Mar 18 (KNS): National Conference on Saturday observed 29th death anniversary of its leader Late Wali Mohd Itoo, in south Kashmir's Kulgam. The party leaders paid rich tributes to the deceased for his contribution in making party strong across J&K.

Late Itoo was the father of former minister Sakina Itoo who was assassinated in Jammu on 18th of March 1994.

Several leaders including NC vice president Omar Abdullah, Provincial President Nasir Aslam wani, MP Hasnain Masoodi, Sakeena Itoo, party spokesperson Imran Nabi Dar and other senior leaders paid tribute to the departed soul.

Addressing the Party Workers, Omar said that it was imperative for workers to strengthen National Conference, which he asserted was the only party working to stop the caravan of BJP.

He further said that if people are happy with exorbitant taxation, soaring unemployment and demolition drive, then they should vote for the BJP. (KNS)
