Jammu Oct 15 :(KNS) Ajay Kumar Sadhotra Former Minister & Senior Leader of Jammu and Kashmir National Conference on Thursday has strongly condemned the lock of KNS office without any reason.

In a statement issued here, Sadhorta said " I am surprised to Know that Kashmir News Service office has been locked by Estates department without any justification or without giving any notice to them.

He said rule of law should prevail and we believe there should be freedom of press and said press should be given maximum facility to facilitate their function.

He also said KNS in an old credible news agency and is reporting realistic things to people, he further said that equal treatment should be done to everyone.

Press is the 4th pillar of democracy, the claims of the government for democratic system and all that this seems it is only to curb the democracy, he remarked (KNS)
