Srinagar, 20 July (KNS): National Anaesthesia & Operation Theatre Technologists Day was celebrated in Sheri Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) on Monday.

An official has said that the function was held in a simple manner, keeping in view rapidly growing cases of Covid-19 pandemic in the valley.

He said that the role & services of our fraternity is much needed during the ongoing medical crisis.

"This day is being celebrated to honour our technologists, who use to take care of the sick patients on ventilators. On this day, we appeal people that prevention is better than cure that too in Covid-19 Pandemic, whis has no cure as of now," official said.

On that occasion, many other officials appealed the people to follow the guidelines in letter and spirit, besides they requested people to wear the masks and maintain Social Distancing & Hand hygiene. (KNS)
