Srinagar, Feb 19 (KNS): Jana Begum, wife of Ghulam Mohammad Lone of Kralgund Handwara passed away after prolonged illness at SHMS Srinagar today.
The deceased was the mother of Online Editor KNS Sajad Lone.
She was unwell from past some time and was under doctor’s observation from last two weeks.
A condolence meeting was held at KNS office Srinagar wherein heartfelt sympathies were extended to Sajad Lone and other family members, besides the meeting prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
Editor Kashmir News Service, Mohammad Aslam Bhat grieved over the sad demise of Jana Begum and extended heartfelt sympathies with the family especially Sajad Lone, who is associated with KNS from a long time.
“May Almighty Allah elevate the departed soul in the highest place of Jannah and forbearance to the family members at this juncture,” Bhat prayed.
Other members of the news wire also prayed for the deceased and extended heartfelt condolences with their colleague Sajad Lone.
Meanwhile the body of the deceased has been moved to her native village Handwara where she will be laid to rest.(KNS)
