Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi, Member of the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly and Secretary of the Anjuman Interfaith Dialogue Chapter, called on His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama in Leh and presented him with the Publication on Interfaith Dialogue.

 

Speaking on the occasion, Aga Syed Muntazir Mehdi said that meeting His Holiness was a truly inspiring and humbling experience.

"The values of peace, tolerance, mutual respect, and compassion advocated by His Holiness are timeless and deeply relevant in today's world. His message encourages us to work towards building societies founded on harmony, understanding, and human dignity," he said.

 

The MLA also appreciated the Dalai Lama's lifelong commitment to promoting non-violence, dialogue, and universal human values. He stated that such interactions serve as a reminder of the importance of fostering unity and coexistence among people of different faiths and cultures. (KNS)
