Srinagar, Jan 23 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed grief over the demise of Merajuddin Khan of Hazratbal Srinagar, who was closely associated with the Mirwaiz family.

In a statement, the AAC Chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq termed the demise of Meraj-ud-din Khan as a big loss. He expressed condolences to the bereaved family, especially the deceased Khan Sahib’s son, Tajuddin Ahmed Khan, and his brothers-in-law, Abdul Majeed Khan and Aftab Ahmad Khan.

Mirwaiz expressed solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved family and prayed to Allah Almighty to grant Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed soul and patience to the bereaved family members.(KNS)
