Missing Baramulla Man's body found after three days, family alleges murder

Baramulla, Aug 02(KNS) : The body of a man, who was missing since July 31, was recovered near Khanpora bridge of baramulla district on Monday, as his family members lodged a police complaint alleging that it was a planned murder. 

An official told Kashmir News service (KNS), that the body of the man, identified Ajaz Ahmad Pandith of Khawjabagh, was recovered from Khanpora bridge after an intensive search operation police and locals

He said that a team of police officials also visited the spot and his body was sent for post-mortem examination to ascertain cause of the death. Later after all formalities the body was handed handed over to his family for last rites, he said. 

The family of the deceased, however, lodged an FIR wt police station alleging that it was a murder, and demanded an impartial investigation, the official added.

He futher said that a case has been already registered in Baramulla police station while some persons has been already arrested in this regard and futher investigation is going on. (KNS).
