Srinagar, May 04 (KNS): Members of Darul khair Mirwaiz Manzil on Monday expressed gratitude to its volunteers working on ground for their selfless service and consistent dedication in distributing food kits and other essential items among the poor and needy during the lockdown due to the corona virus pandemic.

A statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the food distribution continues as "feed a family" initiative during Ramadan where, in coordination with Mohalla and Masjid Committees basic food requirements for a month is being distributed among each needy family.

"This includes rice, atta pulses, tea, oil, sugar, spices, milk-powder, soap-detergents etc costing roughly Rs. 2500 per family" statement said.

It also said that people who would like to support the feed a family initiative are kindly asked to make a contribution to "Darul Khair Mirwaiz Manzil, J&K Bank
