Srinagar, June 11 (KNS): Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday condemned police action against aspirants of Fire and Emergency Services department during a protest at Press Colony Srinagar yesterday.
In a Tweet, Mehboob Mufti urged LG Manoj Sinha and Raj Goyal to personally intervene into the matter.
She said that the aspirants have already spent lakhs on litigation and are only demanding that investigation report into the recruitment scam be made public.
“Condemn police action against Fire & Emergency service aspirants for protesting peacefully. They’ve already spent lakhs on litigation & are only demanding that the report into the recruitment scam be made public. Request @manojsinha_ ji & Raj Goyal ji to intervene urgently,” she tweeted.
On Saturday, scores of Fire and Emergency Services department aspirants held a protest at Press Colony Srinagar, seeking submitting of the investigation report into the recruitment scam. (KNS)
