Kupwara, Sep 27 (KNS): Two residential houses were completely gutted in a massive overnight blaze, rendering four families homeless in Zurhama village of Trehgam Tehsil in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district.

An official told Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that fire broke out in the two single story houses, where four families were residing. 

He said that the fire tenders were immediately dispatched to the spot, however, the houses were reduced to ashes before fire was brought under control.

Meanwhile, locals appealed to the authorities yo rehabilitate the families and provide them with compensation. (KNS)
