Manasabal to get more facilities to attract tourists: Secretary Tourism

Ganderbal, July 21 (KNS): Secretary Tourism, Syed Abid Rashid Shah on Friday said that Manasbal Lake in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district will get more facilities to attract considerable footfall of tourists in future.


Speaking to reporters after inaugurating waters sports festival at Mansabal Lake he said that Manasbal Lake will be made more attractive. 

"The Lake will be made attractive in order to drive in considerable footfall of tourists here. The destination has already improved in various aspects and more will be done in coming times," he said. 

He added that the Lake is cleanest one and has a great potential to attract a large number of tourists.

He said the government has started to explore 300 new tourist destinations to lure more domestic as well as foreign tourists to J&K. (KNS)
