Man found dead in Rambagh seems to have died of epileptic shock: Police

Srinagar, March 25 (KNS): Srinagar police on Saturday said that the man who was found dead in Rambagh area has possibly died due to epileptic shock. 


In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), a spokesperson said a 24-year-old man identified as Mohammad Suleman Wani was found dead in the Rambagh area of Srinagar today morning.

The statement reads as confirmed by his parents, the deceased was a patient of epilepsy and was under treatment. 

"As mandated under law the body was taken for post mortem analysis and inquest proceedings under section 174 of CrPC have been started. Prima facie the cause of death seems to be epileptic shock," it reads. (KNS)
