Molvi Syed Muzaffar throws light on the life and teachings of Imam Hussain (AS)

Srinagar, Sep 7 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association (AJKSA) today organized a Majlis-e-Chehlum at the historic Imam Bargah Zadibal (Srinagar), in which thousands of devotees from different parts of the valley participated. Molvi Syed Muzaffar recited the Majlis and gave an hour-long lecture on the occasion in which he paid tribute and spoke on the hardships faced by the martyrs of Karbala.

Molvi Muzaffar threw light on the life and teachings of Imam Hussain (AS) and asked people to follow the path and teachings of Islam, besides he said that the martyrs of Karbala have set an example before us through their deeds, which will remain till the the last day of this world. 

Moreover, he prayed for the whole Muslim Ummah for their religious peace, unity and integrity. The Majlis started at 10 am with the Marsia by prominent Zakirs the whole day at the Imam Bargah followed by a recitation of Ziyarat E Arbaeen. The Zakireens were led by Zakir Majid Khwaja. Later at 5 pm a Zuljanah Shareef procession was carried out from Mohallah Syed Afzal (Shri Bhutt) to Imam Bargah Zadibal which was led by All JK Shia Association General Secretary Abid Hussain Ansari in which a huge gathering participated.
