Srinagar, Mar 23(KNS): To address election-related queries and concerns from the public, the Kashmir Zone of the Jammu Kashmir Police has taken a proactive step by establishing a dedicated 24x7 "Election Helpline" number.
As per the Kashmir Police Zone, the helpline number, 8899868589, operating under the Police Control Room (PCR) Kashmir, will serve as a vital communication channel for citizens seeking assistance or clarification regarding election procedures
As per the Lok Sabha elections dates announcement, voting in Jammu and Kashmir will be held in five phases and the counting of the votes will take place on June 4. The results of Jammu & Kashmir Lok Sabha elections 2024 will also be announced on June 4 after the counting of the votes by the polling body.
The five Lok Sabha seats that will go to polls in Lok Sabha elections 2024 in five phases are: Baramulla, Srinagar, Anantnag-Rajouri, Udhampur and Jammu.(KNS).
