Srinagar, May 19 (KNS): Following a high-level meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha held a high-level security review meeting at Raj Bhawan Srinagar on Thursday evening, sources said here.

Sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that LG Sinha held a high-level meeting with top civil and police officials after arriving from Jammu today evening to review present situation and security scenario in Jammu and Kashmir.

They said that soon after arriving from Jammu, LG Sinha held a meeting at Raj Bhawan, which started from 7:30 pm onwards and last for about two hours.

Sources added that the meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Arun Kumar Mehta, DGP Dilbag Singh, Divisional Commissioner Kashmir P K Pole, IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar, besides other senior officers.

They said that the meeting was held to review present situation, security scenario and the upcoming Amarnath Yatra.

Earlier, Home Minister Amit Shah held a high-level meeting in New Delhi regarding Jammu and Kashmir following the killing of a KP employee, Rahul Bhat in Budgam district last week. (KNS)
