Srinagar 13 May (KNS): Peoples democratic state secretary youth Arif Laigaroo has greeted the people on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Praying for peace and prosperity in the State, Laigaroo in his message said “The spirit behind the observance of Eid-ul-Fitr is to express our thanks to Almighty Allah for giving us the courage to observe fasting in the month of Ramzan and rededicate ourselves to the path of truthfulness, sincerity, self-control, patience and human dignity”.

He extended his warmest greetings to the people of the State and prayed this auspicious occasion becomes a new harbinger for peace and amity in the State. He also hoped that this auspicious occasion would strengthen the bonds of communal harmony and brotherhood!

He also urged people to adhere strictly to covid19 guidelines, SoPs. Do not venture out unnecessarily, the forum said.(KNS)
