Srinagar February 22:(KNS)   PDP youth secretary Arif Laigaroo has congratulated former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti on being re-elected the president of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Laigaroo said that it was one of the happiest moments. “Not for me but for all PDP leaders, workers and oppressed people of Kashmir, it is one of happiest days,”  Laigaroo said and hoped that he will keep representing of J&K. “ It was late Mufti sahib who first gave a heeling touch to people J&K,” he said. “ Now people of Kashmir have pinned hopes on our party president Mehbooba Mufti.”

The PDP leader said come what may, they will be supporting every move of party president without any delay. He said Mehbooba Mufti emerged from the shadow of her illustrious father Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, who founded the PDP in 1999. “We will work shoulder to tirelessly to fulfil our shared vision of development, inclusiveness and reconciliation in J&K," laigaroo added.(KNS)
