Srinagar, Oct 07 (KNS): The National Conference and Congress alliance has emerged victorious on 9 seats, while BJP has managed to win just one seat in the LAHDC-Kargil elections even as the vote count continues.

Officials told KNS that out of 26 seats results have been declared for 9 seats so far, while counting of votes for the remaining seats is going on.

They said that of 9 seats, Congress has emerged victorious on 5 seats, while NC has won 3 and BJP has managed to win just one seat so far.

Counting of votes for 26 seats of LAHDC-Kargil began at 8 am today amid tight security arrangements. Election for LAHDC-Kargil was held on October 04. (KNS)
