Bandipora August 09 (KNS): The lack of toilet facilities is causing inconvenience to visitors at the famous tourist place Walur Vantage Park in this North Kashmir's Bandipora district.
Speaking to the Kashmir News Service (KNS), they said that they faced inconvenience due to the lack of washroom's at the tourist spot.
Aadil Abdullah a local visitor, said that the lack of washroom facility for visitors “at this famous park is a matter of serious concern”.
“The picnic season has started and the park would witness an increase in the number of tourists across valley, but the lack of the washroom facility irks visitors , atleast a single washroom would be open for the visitors,” he said?
Washrooms have been built but unfortunately they are not open for visitors, there are two washrooms but both have been locked due to which it causes trouble to the visitors,
He also aaded' that the dogs in the park premises are disturbing the visitors,
Scores of visitors for all over Kashmir who had come for a picnic expressed concern over the lack of toilet facility at the park. “It is a very sad situation here. There are no toilet facilities. It becomes very inconvenient, especially for women folk,” he added.
Another visitor said it is unfortunate that Walur Vantage Park being a popular tourist destination lacks such a basic facility as a public toilet. “This not only causes inconvenience to visitors but also creates a poor image of the tourist spot," he said, adding that the authorities must immediately address the issue and ensure that visitors have a comfortable and hassle-free experience at the park and so that they will not suffer anymore.
