Handwara, August 18 (KNS): J&K Labor Department on Tuesday organized an awareness program in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Assistant Labor Commissioner Arshid Ahmad Bhat at the occasion said that those laborers who couldn’t register themselves before the department will be given further chance for enrollment.
He avowed that the objective of the department is to protect and safeguard the rights of a labor who works tirelessly in private sector.
“The department will sent its squads to every Panchayat halqa in order to make laborers associated with construction aware about the benefits and schemes meant for them”, official said. (KNS)
