Srinagar September 12 (KNS):   Secretary Tourism Dr Syed Abid Rashid said that the entire Kupwara has a huge potential of tourism and the department is committed to promote the places.


Talking to KNS, Syed Abid Rashid said that Bangus like festivals will give a new direction to tourism department. We have identified 75 offbeat destinations and the government is committed to focus on these destinations and promote them widely.


This beautiful destination is
apt for winter sports and other tourism activities. Tourism department is committed to promote all tourist destinations across Jammu Kashmir.

Bangus is beautiful tourist destination and it needs promotion. The Tourism Department will do every thing to promote Bangus, as well other places, comprising  Keran, Tweetwal and Lolab in Kupwara.

He also said we conducted series of activities in Bangus Festival, like Paragliding, horseriding, and Hot air Ballon.
