Kulgam August 09:(KNS) Taking strong note of mischievous activity of some persons on social media sites where they have been making sensitive remarks that "the deceased namely Bilal Ahmad Lone son of Gull Mohammad Lone resident of Nagnad D.H Pora was found hanged inside his house, the house owner whose house was damaged in an encounter in last month", but the fact is that no house was damaged during an encounter on 17 July, which is totally baseless.

Unfortunately, on social media platforms some miscreants are spreading sensitive updates regarding the matter that could emerge as great threat to peace and order.

SP Kulgam appealed to all the people to make use of social media platforms in a careful and positive manner. He also warns all the mischievous people that whosoever attempts to instigate the public by spreading baseless rumours and fake news having potential to disturb peace will be dealt strictly under law and stern action will be taken against those who will be found involved in such activities.(KNS)
