Budgam, Dec 28 (KNS): Residents of Kongaipora Hushroo village of Chadoora in Budgam district on Tuesday held a protest against R&B division for failing to complete the constriction of several bridges despite passing over of several years. 

The protesting locals while talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that the foundation stones of these bridge was laid in 2012 and around 85% work has been completed, however, the concerned department has failed to complete these bridges.

They said that on questioning the contractor about completion of bridge he said the department was not providing technical sanction, while the department is saying that the contractor has to complete its construction after that technical sanction will be provided. 

The locals alleged that there is some controversy between department and the contractor, while the public is made to suffer. 

Meanwhile, they appealed to the LG administration to look into the matter and help resolve their genuine grievances. (KNS)
