Srinagar, Mar 16 (KNS): Taking the cognizance of news report, carried by Kashmir News Service (KNS), regarding the lack of bridge over a nallah in between Lam and Gutengoo areas of Aripal in Tral sub division in Pulwama district, district authorities issued an NOC for the construction of bailey bridge over said nallah.
Soon after the news was published in KNS, authorities have issued NOC within 24 hours, and an order copy was also published by the Assistant Executive Engineer of Flood & Irrigation department on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Syed Aabid Rashid under letter No. SDT/N-25/19/665 dt. 12-01-2019.
Deputy Commissioner Pulwama also confirmed this to Kashmir News Service (KNS) and said that NOC has been given for the construction of the said bridge.
Lack of bridge was irking the residents of both these villages as it was risky for them to cross this nallah through a wooden plank, which was posing threat mostly at the time of rains.
As an NOC was issued, the locals have thanked the district administration particularly Deputy Commissioner Pulwama Syed Aabid Rashid for his swift action. (KNS)
