Srinagar, Apr 14 (KNS): The staffers of Kashmir News Service (KNS) on Sunday expressed grief over the sad demise of the father of famous broadcaster, producer and editor Shaherbeen Radio Kashmir Maqsood Ahmad.

Khawaja Mohd Hanif father of Maqsood Ahmad, famous broadcaster, producer and editor Shaherbeen Radio Kashmir Srinagar and uncle of famous journalist Zaffer Iqbal passed away today at Srinagar.
Nimaz jinaza will be held at native village Garkote in Uri in north Kashmir's Baramulla district at 11am.

In a condolence meeting held here today, the members offered Fateh and prayed to Almighty Allah to rest his soul in peace. The members also praised almighty to grant strength to the family, especially Maqsood Sahib, to bear the loss. (KNS)
