Baramulla, Nov 02 (KNS): DDC Chairperson Safina Baig on Thursday urged police and other security agencies that killers of innocent people shouldn’t be spared while as innocents shouldn’t be touched or harassed.
She was speaking to reporters outside the residence of a police constable who was shot dead by unidentified militants outside his residence on Tuesday evening. “I appeal to J&K Police and other security agencies those who are involved in militancy should not be spared but at the same time those who left violence and shunned arms should not be touched or harassed,” Safina Baig as per KNS said.
She said those kill innocents are committing unpardonable crime. “It is heartbreaking to see father of seven daughters being killed. What sin he has committed? And what for he was killed?”, she said.
She added these seven daughters and their mother have now been left at the mercy of Allah. “We cannot bring their father back but all we can do is give them moral and some financial support,” she added. (KNS)
