Srinagar, Jan 17 (KNS): National Conference youth leader and DDC member from ward number 3 of Khimber Harwan, Kaiser Ganai on Monday said that the ward has witnessed massive development within one year of the completion of his tenure as DDC member from the area.

Addressing a press conference At Alka Salka restaurant at TRC Srinagar, he said that during one year of his tenure as DDC member, his ward got almost Rs 5 crore funds for the development of different sectors.

He said that recently almost 2.5 crore funds were sanctioned for the play ground, which was a pending demand for the last 15 years.

“New road has been constructed from PMGSY to Astan Mohalla Takiya Sang Reahi at a cost of one crore. One more important demand which was also pending for the last 15 years has also been approved at a cost of one crore,” he said.

He also said that he is thankful to LG Manoj Sinha and district administration who helped in fulfilling the demands of the people of his area. (KNS)
