Kashmiri Student injured in Punjab Road Accident: JKSA raises Matter with Punjab Chief Minister's for Medical Care

Srinagar December 19 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Students Association here today took up the matter of a Kashmiri student who was injured in an accident in Punjab with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's Office on Monday. In a statement, National Spokesperson of the Association, Aadil Bhat, said that the National Convenor, Nasir Khuehami, spoke to Punjab Chief Minister's Media Advisor Baltej Pannu, urging him for personal intervention.


Bhat stated that the student is studying at RIMT University Punjab and had an accident in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab, on Monday evening. The student has been referred to Chandigarh for treatment. Khuehami requested the Media Advisor to provide immediate medical assistance to the critical student to ensure necessary care.

Responding to Khuehami's request, Punjab Chief Minister's Media Advisor extended all help and directed GMCH Authorities to ensure necessary and essential medical care for the student in critical condition. Pannu assured swift action to address the pressing medical needs of the student.

The association also expressed its gratitude to Mr. Baltej Pannu for his prompt intervention and for ensuring that the necessary medical care is being extended to the student in distress. The response from the Punjab CM's Office has been nothing short of exemplary. The student is now reported to be stable and is currently undergoing treatment.(KNS)
