Srinagar, March 12 (KNS): Director Intelligence Bureau (IB) Tapan Kumar Deka on Sunday said Kashmir is witnessing a new change and a peaceful atmosphere now.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of inaugural function of All India Police Football Championship here, Director IB, as per Kashmir News Service (KNS) said those participating in this championship will get a chance to witness the peaceful atmosphere in Kashmir and they will go with a message or peace and love across the country.
He said sports is a medium to spread love and peace and today Kashmir is also witnessing new change and atmosphere of peace.
“Those participating in this tournament will get a change to interact will Kashmir police and people here. They will get to know about situation in Kashmir and will spread the message of peace and love across the country,” he said.
Director IB also complimented Jammu and Kashmir police for organising such a mega event and wished this will be successful event. (KNS)
