Kashmir Witnesses Unprecedented Sports Infrastructure Progress in Last 3 Years: Sarmad Hafeez

Srinagar, Dec 13 (KNS): While highlighting the unprecedented development witnessed in the Kashmir Valley over the last three years in sports Infrastructure, Secretary of Youth Services & Sports (YSS), Sarmad Hafeez, said that the youth of Jammu and Kashmir are making remarkable strides in the field of sports, utilizing newly developed infrastructure to showcase their immense talent and potential. 

Hafeez expressed his enthusiasm about the growing involvement of youth in sports activities, emphasizing the crucial role such events play in providing a platform for them to excel in various fields. He stated, "J&K youth have immense talent, and such events provide them a platform to showcase their potential and worth to excel in the respective fields."

"One of the key areas of focus has been the development of sports infrastructure across the Kashmir Valley. Over the last three years, there has been a significant boost in infrastructure, making sports facilities more accessible, even in remote areas. This development includes the enhancement of cricket turfs, aesthetic turfs, and other sports-related facilities," he said.

"The increased participation of youth in sports activities is seen as a positive trend, contributing not only to individual growth but also fostering a sense of community and well-being," he said.

"With continue progress in sports infrastructure, it is expected that more youth will be inspired to actively engage in sports, leading to an overall positive impact on the region's health, community spirit, and talent development," he added.(KNS)
