Karnah, Aug 30 (KNS) The students and teachers at Govt upper primary school Kandi Bala in Karnah Tuesday expressed resentment against the Jal Shakti Department for failing to repair the water service line from the past two weeks.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS) the students and staff members were facing severe hardships due to non-availability of potable drinking water from last two weeks in Govt Upper primary school Kandi bala in karnah.
They informed Kashmir news service (KNS) said 'that the service line has developed snag more than two weeks ago and "we are approaching the concerned Jal Shakti department several times but of no avail."
He said that 150 students on roll of this School are suffering due to non-availability of drinking water, "toilets here too are without water supply,” the headmaster added.
Meanwhile, they have sought intervention of SDM Karnah and higher official of Jal Shakti Department in this regard so that their grievances are redressed at the earliest.(KNS)
