Srinagar March 09:(KNS)  Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary on Tuesday has urged the government not to make the contractual lecturers suffer for the want of wages which are pending in their favour for the past five months.

Kadfeen in a statement has said that it is ironic that  the qualified youth of Jammu engaged as the academic arrangements are without wages for the past months. It makes one question the efficacy of state administration and is highlighting the administrative inertia the Jammu and Kashmir state is reeling under at present.

 Kadfeen said that highly qualified youth engaged as contractual lecturers in various degree colleges of Jammu are moving from pillar to post for the disbursement of their wages. However, their pleas are falling on the deaf ears with their livelihood getting severely affected by the administration’s indifferent attitude.

Kadfeen demanded immediate disbursement of their wages, stating that if such a scenario continues it will leave the administrative set-up wrecked to the core.(KNS)
