Srinagar, May 11 (KNS): Tanveer-ul-Ahad – founding editor of Global News Service and newspaper The Daily Kashmir Glory was remembered on his 3rd death anniversary on Thursday.
According to a statement, a special prayer meeting was held here, where GNS team paid rich tributes to Tanveer, who passed away at a young age in May 2020.
A prayer meeting was also held at his home in Muqam-i-Shahwali, Drugmulla. People from different walks of life poured in at his residence to pay their tributes.
Meanwhile, KNS editor-in-chief Mohammad Aslam Bhat and other staff members also paid rich tributes to Tanveer on his 3rd death anniversary.
In his message, Mohammad Aslam Bhat remembered him as noble soul, passionate and a professional journalist who upheld the ethics of journalism during his stint as a journalist, but unfortunately left this world at a young age. (KNS)
