JKPCC pays floral tributes to Jawahar Lal Nehru on his death anniversary

Srinagar May 27 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Thursday paid floral tributes to Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru on his death anniversary at Srinagar Party Office.

According to a statement issued to Kashmir news service (KNS), on the death anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, JKPCC General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi and other Party leaders and workers paid floral tributes to the departed leader at Srinagar Party Office and recalled his selfless services and also hailed his great contributions in the Nation building.

Congress Leaders Mushtaq Ahmad Khanday, Abdul Rashid Dar (Sangrama) and various other party leaders and workers were present and paid floral tributes to Pt. Nehru and vowed to work for the development of the people, which was the mission of the departed leader.

JKPCC General Secretary Surinder Singh Channi highlighted the role played by the first Prime Minister of India in Nation building and described Pt. Ji as a man of vision laid the foundation of strong India after taking over as first Prime Minister, with a result, India got the recognition of fast-developing country in the world.

Pt. Ji left no stone unturned to develop the country in every field and India achieved remarkable development in every field, which could no be denied, PCC General Secretary added and said People need to follow Nehruvian Philosophy, which is the way forward to further strengthen the world’s largest democracy (India).(KNS)
